Event Series:
“A Hallowe’en Evening Open House!”
In cooperation with Downtown Wyandotte’s Third Friday
festivities, pick up the trolley in front of White Furniture
to join us at the Museum for a special October Evening Open
House! Carved jack ‘o’ lanterns and festive decorations greet
you as you stop in for a glimpse of the celebrations of
Hallowe’en evenings long past. Enjoy the charm and fun of an
Edwardian Hallowe’en party, and get some historical decorating
ideas for your next event! Also, learn about the customs of
Victorian mourning as we display a 19th century funeral in the
parlor, using many artifacts from Thon’s Funeral Home - which
is celebrating 151 years in Wyandotte! Exhibit up for the
entire month of October, Thursday thru Sunday, Noon to 4 PM.
