The Wyandotte Museum is introducing a new program: Music at the Museum! In an effort
to provide additional cultural outlets for our community, staff at the Wyandotte Museum are
working with local professional musician and Museum docent, Bruce Sininger, to offer
private piano and voice lessons in the Historic Ford-MacNichol Home.

Bruce Sininger studied piano and voice at the famed Eastman School of Music in New York
and the Conservatory of Music in Cincinnati. Bruce has established a very successful
performing and teaching career: he is a retired Professor of Music from Wayne State
University and taught at Defiance College and The Center for Creative Studies Institute of
Music. He has performed solo recitals and with symphonies through the United States and
has performed with several opera companies. Currently, Bruce is the Music Director at Christ
the King Lutheran Church in Grosse Pointe Woods.

Piano lessons are available for students aged 5 and up; voice lessons for students aged 6 and
up. Students under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.
Students must have access to a piano or electronic keyboard outside of lessons for practice.
Lesson times will be coordinated with the instructor upon contact.  Cost is $20.00 per half hour
lesson.

Music at the Museum will provide a unique, educational experience for students of all ages
and we are excited to being offering this program to the community!”
